. a press conference has been scheduled for 9:30. we expect the mayor and assistant police chief to give us up-to-date information and answer any questions from the media. >> kimberly tere reporting for us, thank you. . new information on a deadly shooting in menlo park. police are saying the victim may have been killed during a robbery. today the victim was identified as 42-year-old kerry -- in the east bay. two people approached them. at some point shots were fired and officers found the victim in the street. witnesses saw two men wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts running from the area. police have not released the identity of the woman but ask anyone with information to call the police department. police are not saying whether the victim was targeted or if it was a random attack a three-car accident happened 2:30 this afternoon. a 34-year-old woman died at the hospital. a 37-year-old man from the same car suffered major head injuries. no word on his condition or the condition of the others hur. some witnesses told nbc bay area that people often speed through the area because there
